Film Festival Volunteers

The Reel Islington Film Festival 2012 is now looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers. The festival which takes place from 24th-26th February is based on the theme “We the People”. It will showcase the works of both established and up-and-coming filmmakers. There will also be workshops and talks led by industry professionals. It promises to be an exciting weekend with a little bit of something for everyone!

We are now looking for volunteers to assist with the ‘Meet the Professionals’ workshops, which will be led by Promotion Director Kate Dunn (Channel 4), Digital Effects Specialist John Cryer , Feature Films Production Manager Marianne Jenkins and Location Scout and local Filmmaker Ben Garfield. This is a great opportunity for anybody working in, studying or interested in film. You must have good interpersonal and communication skills.

We are also looking for volunteers to run our pop up café through out the weekend and to donate homemade snacks which could include cakes, brownies or cookies.

You may claim travel expense capped at £5:40 a day.
