Tickets Available Now for Q&A with artist Jeremy Deller

Come join us on Sunday the 26th of February from 7pm for the screening of ‘The Battle of Orgreave’, a film directed by Oscar-nominated Mike Figgis. The film follows Jeremy Deller’s extraordinary re-enactment of the violent miner’s strike in 1984. Deller will take time out from preparations on his first major retrospective at the Hayward Gallery to join Jeremy Corbyn MP for a discussion directly after the screening.

Reel Islington Film Festival

Turner Prize winning artist Jeremy Deller and multi-award winning director Ken Loach will headline a packed programme of screenings and events at this year’s Reel Islington Film Festival from 24-26 February. Alongside internationally recognised figures from the arts, the three-day independent film festival also offers a platform for first-time filmmakers. The full line-up boasts multi-award winning documentaries, fiction, animation and shorts from Martin Scorsese, Ken Loach, Mike Figgis, Charlie Chaplin, Koutaiba Al-Janabi and Kyoko Miyake
