A panel of leading film journalists and academics discuss the idea of England in film, past and present, followed by a Q&A. Chaired by Jude Rogers, Arts Journalism Leader at London Metropolitan University/Arts Journalist (Guardian/Observer, Q, The Quietus).

Panel members include Ali Catterall (Film Critic, Q), Frances Morgan (Film Critic, Sight & Sound) and Dr Maurizio Cinquegrani (Film Studies Lecturer, University of Kent).

A chance to meet film industry professionals and take a behind the scenes look with writer, producer and director David Wilson.  
David Wilson has worked in TV for thirty years and has been directing since 1988. He specializes in documentary films about history and religion. His credits include: Armada [C4, 2001]; Battle Fields [World War II with Richard Holmes, BBC2, 2002]; Empire [British Empire with Niall Ferguson, C4, 2003]; Who Wrote the Bible? [C4, 2004]; The Bible Revolution [Reformation with Rod Liddle, C4, 2006]; Christianity: A History [C4 2009]; Lost Kingdoms of Africa [BBC4/2, 2010]; Delphi [BBC4, 2010]; Guilty Pleasures [History of Luxury BBC4, 2011]; The Bridges that Built London [with Dan Cruickshank, BBC4/2, 2012]; He is currently starting a new project for ITV.
